The firm is very active in the area of copyright law. Examples of the services provided include examining the claims of authors/creators with respect to their works, protecting advertising concepts and photographs, and defending claims to supposedly existing rights in the area of downloads/uploads/streaming content. Defending or asserting the right of persons to their own image/likeness is another issue relevant to this area of law.

 

Examples of services offered to clients: Examination of the effectiveness protection, not only of the software itself but also of the user interface (UI), and if appropriate in combination with a protection as a (registered) design.
 
Contractual issues, such as the licensing of rights of use, are often of great importance, but also the assessment and creation of IT contracts, where appropriate, in consultation with a law firm active in IT law, which resides in the same building.
